Never slide heavy objects or appliances across the face of the vinyl. If you need to, use professional moving guides or carry the objects. Never use standard multi purpose vinyl adhesives to install Flexitec. If the adhesive is too wet it will never dry and bubbles may occur. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Use only Flexitec recommended cleaners or mild detergents. Never wax Flexitec. It is not necessary. Waxes and solvents may leave a film that will dull the surface.

Use permanant silicone caulk next to bathtubs, showers, sliding doors, and in similar areas to prevent moisture from getting under the vinyl.
