Hi, I've a Sony BDP-S and I have a number of problems with it, firstly it keeps asking for a firmware up date, I have tried to download it but it keeps falling over before the end, so I can't burn a DVD to upload it.
I have spoken to Sony who have as good as said it's not our problem, ask at the shop for a copy, I've asked but the Sony shop doesn't want to know, saying that until such time as Sony say it is needed they won't download me a copy. Also the player likes to turn itself off during the playing of these discs, which is a pain. Does anyone have any problems like this with this player? Event Horizon Well-known Member.
Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me? I have just upgraded the firmare to version 3. However, now when I place a dvd or a blue ray disc Pirates Of The Carribean -Dead Man's Chest, it says that it is unable to play the disc, this is the same case with a dvd. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, have you been able to fix this? Your help would be much appreciated. Click to expand By the way, in the notes it states that you must not interrupt the update once started, whilst this is true, the power on my system died during the process twice because of power saving systems I have in place, regardless of that once sorted the disc re-loaded each time and did run it's full course and took approx 15 mins to complete.
