Everything is very well spelled out. Also, Kindle books with DRM that are already added to Calibre must be removed and reloaded for the plug-in to work. DRM is undoubtably a bug since it randomly "attacks" recordings. I have episodes that have recorded with no issues and then others it kicks in.
I posted to see if someone from MS will answer the question and let us know if there is a fix or if it is one of the "screw the user" things. I'm sure Microsoft's opinion would be that there is no need for a fix as there is nothing broken. Support for DRM is an intentional part of the design, and not making it possible to simply switch off is also part of the design.
